About Linda Isle

Linda Isle is a prestigious guard gated community in Newport Beach, California. It is known for multi-million dollar estates with private docks, as well as the turning basin for large yachts.

Linda Isle was the last to be incorporated into the city in 1954 and is now a part of the Lower Bay. During the transition, Newport Beach changed from a resort location to more of a residential community. Linda Isle is centrally located and designed in a shape of a horse shoe with docks extending. Notable residents include Gary Primm who kept his yacht, the “Prima Donna” here.

Residents in this neighborhood have access to a tennis court, community clubhouse, playgrounds, and access to a beautiful sandy beach. Homes that are located on the bay front have spectacular water front views. And some of the estates have room for yachts measuring more than 70 feet. Linda Isle is said to have some of the most desired and most expensive property in Southern California.

Linda Isle residents have easy access to world class shopping and dining as well as the John Wayne/Orange County Airport. Fashion Island features upscale open-air shopping with stores like Neiman Marcus, Brooks Brothers, Whole Foods, and Bloomingdales. The Newport Shopping Center features many retail stores and services like Wells Fargo Bank, Happy Nails & Spa, Living Fitness, Newport Ridge Cleaners, and Ocean Hills Dentistry.

Newport Beach has many water activities like fishing, swimming, paddle boating, and canoeing. The Upper Newport Bay is a large coastal wetland that offers refuge for birds stopping along the Pacific Flyway. The ecological reserve is attractive to many species of birds because of its mudflats, salt marshes, and marine habitats.

The Newport Mesa Unified School District provides public education for Linda Isle with facilities like Abraham Lincoln Elementary School, Corona Del Mar High School, and Horace Ensign Intermediate School. Families can also choose one of several private schools like Harbor Day School, Carden Hall, Newport Montessori School, St. Andrews Presbyterian Preschool, and Newport Christian School.
